If spending half an hour running on a treadmill feels like an especially horrible type of punishment for you, then I've got the best option for you: hiking.
Hiking is essentially just walking—but on rocks, grass, dirt, and other places where you could get lost and die. Kidding!
The truth is, hiking is easy. It could be hard, depending on where you choose to go, but it’s really just walking on trails that may or may not be even. But it’s fun!
Especially for people who loathe the idea of exercising.
